Summer Exhibition 2008
This year the club's Summer Exhibition took place between August 11th and the 16th. A very pleasing flow of people was recorded passing through the doors to give a record number of visitors. A number of new members joined the club during the exhibition period to take advantage of the 10% discount that was available. Many positive and encouraging comments were recorded in the visitors book and much interest was shown in the club itself and the images on show, perhaps indicating the continued rise in popularity of photography as an art form and as a hobby, almost certainly fuelled by the proliferation of high quality, affordable digital cameras and printing equipment nowadays available. posted Sunday August 17th
